Installation

• No Pre-drilling is necessary
• Always use the coarsest saw blade possible for cutting
• For drilling any sharp drill bit will work
• Use coarse plated srews at least 1 1/4" long and at least 2 per stake to attach stakes
• For the best performance, most of the board should be in the ground on both sides. No more than 3/4" should be above the ground level.
• Bender Borders react to temperature variations that can result in up to 1/32"/ft. of expansion or contraction.
• Take this into consideration when designing long runs.

Slip Joint

• Each piece of bender borders has a slip joint cut 2" back on both ends.
• The slip joint allows for thermal expansion and contraction and speeds up the installation process.
• Never screw through the slip joint.
